The Other Side of the Door Movie Review

A dramatic horror thriller about a couple living in India who are searching for their missing son, Oliver, who was believed to have been dead, but who returns to terrorize their lives, especially that of his adorable and happy little sister, Lucy.

Watched The Other Side of the Door with Jiewei on Thursday afternoon at Johor Bahru City Square Cathay Cineplex.

Personally, I feel that the story is direct with a simple plot. The show taps into our primal fears where only the innocent ones can see, such as the dog and child. This uncertainty heightens the suspense of the show.

Though a predictable film with the usual horror flick, the build up is carefully injected with good flow. There are many intense moment which kept me on the edge of my seat. Towards the finale, there is a slight twist that is least expected.
