[Korean Drama Review] Big Mouth

Strange things happen when an unsucessful lawyer accidentally takes on a murder case and tries to get to the bottom of the hidden truth.

Park Chang Ho (Lee Jong Suk) is a third-rate lawyer who has a measly 10% winning rate. He likes to talk big and gets the nickname Big Mouth. One day, he takes on a strange murder case that turns his whole worthless life upside down. From an inconspicuous lawyer, he turns into a genious swindler nicknamed Big Mouse.

Park Chang Ho’s wife, Go Mi Ho (Im Yoon Ah), works as a nurse. She helped her husband become a lawyer by supporting him financially and psychologically. Go Mi Ho learns that her husband is fingered as the swindler Big Mouse and attempts to clear his name.

Had completed watching this Korean drama - Big Mouth

I enjoyed the progression of each episode, which led me to follow the series closely. Though it might be slightly draggy at the later episodes. Certain occurrence might also appear coincidence and predictable, but it was well-executed as a whole.

The "gathering of evidence and revealing of hidden truth" moment was definitely epic and kept me at the edge of my seat. In order to grasp the story well, you definitely have to follow it closely. The finale had an unexpected turn-out which was quite sad. However, it put a good end to it.

Never put someone to test as circumstances might change and prove you otherwise, in an unexpected way you least expected.

Kudos to Lee Jong-Suk, Lim Yoon-A and Kim Joo-Hun acting capabilities. Nicely portrayed!

[Korean Drama Review] A Superior Day

Lee Ho Cheol is just an ordinary guy who works as a firefighter. One day, when news about a serial killer was making headlines, Lee Ho Cheol receives a piece of information from a stranger informing him that the serial killer is his neighbour, Kwon Shi Woo.

Unknown to Lee Ho Cheol, the stranger who gave him that information is a contract/hired killer, Bae Tae Jin, and Lee Ho Cheol suddenly finds himself trapped in a situation between the two.

I have just finished watching this Korean drama - A Superior Day. The story was adapted from the novel "Superior Day" by Team Getname. This series reminded me of the movie - Taken, a father who anxiously find ways to rescue his daughter.

Personally, I thought that the show was alright - A suspenseful fast-paced thriller with mysterious element injected. A pity that the story was lacking in terms of its plot which could have been better executed. The 24 hour time limit appeared rather unconvincing as a series. Hence, I would recommend you to binge watch it so that you can better relate and enjoy this drama.

Kudos to Lee Won-Geun and Jin Goo acting capabilities as they did well in their craft!
