Won tickets to Music & Men's Fashion Week - Day 4. Ask Joe along as I got 2 tickets. The contest I participated in states that I will get a chance to see Ron Ng & Shawn Yue. However, it turn out otherwise. Enquired with the organiser and it seems that they do not know anything about it as well. Was rather disappointed with the management because I did not get to see Ron Ng & Shawn Yue. Oh well.

The event is an eye-opener for me. Think this is the first time I been to such a grand fashion event held at marina bay sands. Get to walk around the fashion metropolis to see various fashion wear from people and merchandise there.

The men fashion show is new to me and I get to learn from the designers/models on the way they match their clothings. For me, I like the design from Matthew Miller because its vibrant and stands out from the rest. That's my pick because I heart bright colours.

The performance put up from the celebrities are amazing! I like Bie Kpn performance, he sang na xie nian which is one of the hottest pop hits currently. His singing and dance move for his singles - Till The End is good too! Not to forget royal pirates! One cool band who rock the night! Get to see Sung Hoon & Se7en as well! Other local celebrities - Belinda Lee, Benedict Goh & David Gan are there too!

Though did not really know the international celebrities there, I still enjoyed the event. Overall, I get to have a better awareness of fashion sense and on the other hand, gain exposure of knowing new artiste which are talented! One good night! :D

Nevertheless, thank you Fide Fashion Week for the tickets!

Watoto Children’s Choirs have travelled internationally since 1994 as advocates for the estimated 50 million children in Africa, orphaned as a result of HIV/AIDS, war, poverty and disease.

Accompanied by a team of adults, the choir presents Watoto’s vision and mission through their stories, music and dance. Watoto choirs act as ambassadors to raise awareness about the plight of the orphaned and vulnerable children of Africa.

Attended Watata Children's Choir concert at the Axis yesterday evening. Above are the previous performance at other places. Truly amazed and blessed by the kids. Great performance which I guess indeed touched many there. I think through this concert it made me realise how fortunate I am. Have to learn to count my blessing! Pray that the kids will continue to work towards their goal! May God bless them!

God is <3! (:

Based on Nicholas Sparks' bestseller The Lucky One, Zac Efron ("17 Again," "Charlie St. Cloud") stars alongside Taylor Schilling (TV's "Mercy") and Blythe Danner ("Meet the Parents" franchise) in this romantic drama directed by Academy Award(R)-nominated writer/director Scott Hicks ("Shine," "No Reservations").U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault (Efron) returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq, with the one thing he credits with keeping him alive-a photograph he found of a woman he doesn't even know. Learning her name is Beth (Schilling) and where she lives, he shows up at her door, and ends up taking a job at her family-run local kennel. Despite her initial mistrust and the complications in her life, a romance develops between them, giving Logan hope that Beth could be much more than his good luck charm.

Won premeire tickets to catch the lucky one at GV max Vivo! Watched it with Xincheng.

I feel that the story flows pretty well though certain scenes can be draggy. I am glad that it did not only focus only romance but also the importance of kinship within the family. There are certain humorous scenes which liven up the show. It is amazing on how a photograph kept Logan alive during army and also found true love from there. Oh well, it will be better if there are subtitles!

Zac Efron acted okay here though I thought that he could be more expressive. Taylor Schilling acted pretty good with her given role. I think the one which caught more of my attention was the kid, Riley Thomas Stewart. He is cute and acted well!

Overall, its a heart-warming film!

Thank you GV for the tickets!

Celebrated wei ren's advance birthday! Had lunch at chicken hotpot, first time there and I find the food tasted okay but its rather expensive. Ordered the large portion of chicken with 3 bowl of rice to share among three of us but I guess its not really filling for us.

To my surprise, one bowl of rice cost $0.80. Kinda expensive. After which, had gong tea! First time trying alisan milk tea and I think it tasted good!

Then, went to watch mirror mirror. Its about snow white which brings back childhood memories. I like the fairlytale settings and costume. Look pretty nice. Certain scenes were rather humorous too. Lily Collins look sweet!

Went airport road for dinner! Then, HSH! (:

Recently, watched the vow and perfect two. Feel that both movies are rather heart-warming and the vow was inspired by true event. Below will be my reviews on the two films.

Real-life story of a newlywed New Mexico couple, Kim and Krickitt Carpenter, who were struck by tragedy shortly after their marriage. A car crash puts the wife in a coma, where she is cared for by her devoted husband. When she comes to, without any memory of her husband or their marriage, the husband must woo her and ultimately win her heart once again.

I feel that the story is decent though certain scenes are rather draggy. Splendid acting from Channing Tatum & Rachel McAdams! Think they acted well with their given roles. I was rather touched by Leo Collins when he put in effort and his best to regain the memory of Paige Collins. He was pretty sincere and I could feel the love he had for the wife. The loving scenes before the accident were really sweet! Its a sweet touching film catered for the romantic one! <3

Overall, its one heart-warming show for the old and young.

Ah B (Vic Zhou), a well-known racing champion lost his fame and fortune due to an accident. His wife left him and he began narcotic with alcohol and gambling to see through life. One day, Ah B’s wife (Yang Mi) who has disappeared for six years reappeared with a boy, Bin Bin (Xiao Xiao Bin), claimed that Bin Bin is his son and has to leave him under his care for time being. Both gradually developed a close father and son relationship in which Ah B’s self-defeating life reignited a glimmer of hope.

I feel that the story is rather heart-warming and humorous. I feel that it focuses more on kinship between the father and son. Though both separated for a long time, Ah B and Bin Bin still get along together well and developed a strong father & son relationship. It shows the importance of a father to a son.

Kudos to Vic Zhou and Xiao Xiao Bin. I think they acted pretty well and certain scenes from them were rather touching. Not to forget Ella Chen, Vivian Hsu and Yang Mi! They did well too. And yup. Yang Mi look gorgeous!

Overall, its one heart-warming show for the old and young.

Finished watching 3 episode of this TV series - American Horror Story. Till this point I've watched, the story is about a family (Ben, Vivien and their daughter, Violet). Due to Vivien's miscarriage and Ben's affair, the family decided to move from Boston to LA, and takes up residence in an old mansion to give their marriage another shot, without knowing that the house was haunted.

In each episode, it flashes back to the scenes on what had happened previously to those who are murdered in the house. Then, to the Harmon family who are are currently staying there. From there, most of the cast are being introduced which makes you have a clearer picture of the story. Then, the story goes on from there....

To me, I feel that the plot is rather straight-forward, refreshing and keeps you in suspense. I was rather engaged and focus while watching it. After each episode, I cannot wait to catch the next one to know what will happen!? I think it is one good mysterious thriller one should catch!

Kudos to the 2 main actor/actress(Dylan McDermott, Vivien Harmon), I feel that both of them did well with their given roles. Jessica Lange did a reasonably good job too! And yup, she won the best supporting actress of Golden Globes 2012 for this show!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

AMERICAN HORROR STORY revolves around the Harmons, a family of three who moved from Boston to Los Angeles as a means to reconcile past anguish. The all-star cast features Dylan McDermott as BEN HARMON, a psychiatrist; Connie Britton as VIVIEN HARMON, Ben’s wife; Taissa Farmiga as VIOLET, the Harmon’s teenage daughter; Jessica Lange in her first-ever regular series TV role as CONSTANCE, the Harmon’s neighbor; Evan Peters plays TATE LANGDON, one of Ben’s patients; and Denis O’Hare as LARRY HARVEY. Guest stars for the series include Frances Conroy as the Harmon’s housekeeper; Alexandra Breckenridge as the Harmon’s housekeeper; and Jamie Brewer as Constance’s daughter.

Few days ago, received an email from Strategic Public Relations Pte. Ltd. (SPRG), a publicists of FOX International Channels (FIC) for an invitation to do a TV review on a American Horror Story. Been thinking whether to take it up by asking my queries. After consideration, I decided to take it up.

They are tying up with few other writers as well. Thus, I think there will be similar chances in future. Thanks SPRG for the chance to write a review for this show.

Had received the information and screeners earlier on. Will be blogging about the the show - American Horror Story after I watched it. Do keep a look out!

Praise God! (:
