My commuting experience has been neither a good nor bad one (-__-).

Smiley
When travelling to work, I do see some commuters being gracious, moving in towards the back which enable others to board the bus. At the same time, giving up seats to the one who needs more. On the mrt platform, I do see commuters standing behind the yellow line while waiting for the train and let the passengers alight before boarding in. It is also good to see them giving up seats and move in to the centre which allows more of the the others to board in.

However, I do not see this happen often. In the bus, I see commuters standing at the side without taking the initiative to move in until the driver tell them to move in, most did but not all. I also see some commuters not giving up seats to the one who need it more. In the MRT, some would just rush in before letting passengers to alight, not moving in and giving up seats to those in need. To the extent, some even place their personal belonging or rest their legs on an empty seat.

There is one incident when I was alighting the train, I saw a lady confronted a boy because he hit her without apologizing and not saying 'excuse me' while alighting.

Simliar incidents will continue to happen if we are not gracious and considerate enough to be sensitive and think for others.

Do you want this to continue happening?
OR
Do you wish to have a happy & safe ride home or work?

Think about it.

Watched the Dr. Seuss' The Lorax (In 3D) preview screening with Gary. Plan to watch it with Tirus but he flew my aeroplane. :(

Phew~ At least Gary able to make it else I will watch it alone. Anyway, I've watched movies alone before thus I'm alright with it too~

I feel that the story is rather decent and humorous as well! It flows well and educate the viewers on being appreciative to the trees and environment around us. Imagine if there are no trees, how will the environment look like? Its a reminder for us to treasure it. And yup! I like the different composition & animation too! Nicely done. Great musical and dance as well.

As a whole, its a light-hearted film for the young and old. I guess it might not appeal to the kids because its a rather educational film and not those like kungfu panda which appeal to kids more I guess. A show simliar to Happy feet but the latter is better.

Thank you OMY.sg & UIP for the invitation to this screening! Appreciated!
Praise God for everything too! (:

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.

From the creators of Despicable Me and the imagination of Dr. Seuss comes the 3D-CG feature The Lorax, an adaptation of the classic tale of a forest creature who shares the enduring power of hope. The animated adventure follows the journey of a 12-year-old as he searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.

Danny DeVito will lend his vocal talents to the iconic title character of the Lorax, while Ed Helms will voice the enigmatic Once-ler. Also bringing their talents to the film are global superstars Zac Efron as Ted, the idealistic youth who searches for the Lorax, and Taylor Swift as Audrey, the girl of Ted’s dreams. Rob Riggle will play financial king O’Hare, and beloved actress Betty White will portray Ted’s wise Grammy Norma.

The Lorax is the third feature created by Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment (Despicable Me, Hop). www.theloraxmovie.com

Yesterday, went with Gary for Jeanette's Aw Definitions book signing event at Ngee Ann City, Kinokuniya. Reached there at 2pm as stated but the event started slightly earlier.

Initially, we thought she's not there, and both host Dennis Chew and Ivy Chen were there to keep us entertain before she came.

Then, saw Tanat and say 'HI' to me. He then told me she's already started signing the boook! Get to see familiar faces like Elvin too! And yup! Damien was there! He's a BIG fan of Jeanette! Saw Jayley woo as well!

The response was rather overwhelming! I think people there kinda neglected the host though they were trying their best to talk, keep us entertain and promote Jeanette's book! Anyway, most are there for Jeanette Aw of course!

Congrats her for the successful book signing! (:
