[Movie Review] The Commuter

In this action packed thriller, Liam Neeson plays an insurance salesman, Michael, on his daily commute home, which quickly becomes anything but routine. After being contacted by a mysterious stranger, Michael is forced to uncover the identity of a hidden passenger on his train before the last stop. As he works against the clock to solve the puzzle, he realizes a deadly plan is unfolding and is unwittingly caught up in a criminal conspiracy. One that carries life and death stakes, for himself and his fellow passengers.

Watched The Commuter at Shaw lido earlier yesterday evening! This film was released last month, on 11 January. Since then, I've always wanted to catch it. Thankfully, there was still show-time available over at Shaw theatres.

Personally, I enjoyed this film as a whole package. It was well-crafted with a good story flow. It had many intense moments which certainly kept me at the edge of my seat. Not to miss out those action scenes that were nicely depicted. Overall, it was suspenseful and had an unexpected twist as though I'm watching a Japanese film. An engaging movie indeed.

If you adore such genre of film, do catch it on Shaw lido before it go off screen!
