A crisis fixer for the elite pursues the truth of his past, repeatedly crossing moral lines as he descends into the very abyss he seeks to escape.
Initially, the story started off pretty well, and it seemed like the kind of drama I would really enjoy. Unfortunately, as the story progressed, it didn't quite turn out the way I had expected. The pacing felt rather slow, with a gradual build-up that sometimes made the storyline a little dull.
I don't know if it's just me, but I also felt that some of the cast members didn't quite gel with their respective roles. The fight choreography was pretty legit, though! I just wish the acting had been stronger, as that would have made the overall viewing experience so much better.
Things only started to get more exciting towards the end, but even then, some scenes felt rather abrupt. I would have appreciated more elaboration and visual storytelling to help certain developments feel more complete and impactful.
Overall, In His Hands was a drama I had been looking forward to watching, but it unfortunately lacked the substance I was hoping for. While it had its moments, I couldn't help feeling that there was more potential to the story than what was ultimately delivered.
That said, it's still a watchable drama, especially if you're a fan of this genre, which I definitely am. It just could have been so much better with stronger character portrayals, a more engaging storyline, and a more satisfying build-up.
