[Korean Drama Review] A Superior Day

Lee Ho Cheol is just an ordinary guy who works as a firefighter. One day, when news about a serial killer was making headlines, Lee Ho Cheol receives a piece of information from a stranger informing him that the serial killer is his neighbour, Kwon Shi Woo.

Unknown to Lee Ho Cheol, the stranger who gave him that information is a contract/hired killer, Bae Tae Jin, and Lee Ho Cheol suddenly finds himself trapped in a situation between the two.

I have just finished watching this Korean drama - A Superior Day. The story was adapted from the novel "Superior Day" by Team Getname. This series reminded me of the movie - Taken, a father who anxiously find ways to rescue his daughter.

Personally, I thought that the show was alright - A suspenseful fast-paced thriller with mysterious element injected. A pity that the story was lacking in terms of its plot which could have been better executed. The 24 hour time limit appeared rather unconvincing as a series. Hence, I would recommend you to binge watch it so that you can better relate and enjoy this drama.

Kudos to Lee Won-Geun and Jin Goo acting capabilities as they did well in their craft!
