Chef Philip Chia returns to Shangri-La Singapore with a showcase of traditional favourites, offering diners the opportunity to enjoy familiar Peranakan flavours in a buffet setting. The promotion runs from 6 to 30 August 2026 and is available during both lunch and dinner.

Among the highlights are classic dishes such as Ayam Buah Keluak, Babi Asam Goreng, Nyonya ChapChye and Kepiting Taucheow. Each dish brings its own character to the spread, from the earthy and distinctive flavours of buah keluak to the tangy notes of asam and the savoury richness of taucheow.

The selection also includes a variety of traditional Nyonya kuehs, offering a sweet finish to the meal. These colourful treats are an essential part of Peranakan food culture and add a nostalgic touch to the overall feast.

What makes this dining experience particularly appealing is the balance between familiar comfort and heritage flavours. For those who grew up enjoying Peranakan dishes, it offers a chance to revisit some much-loved classics. For those less familiar with the cuisine, it provides an easy introduction to the diverse flavours and traditions that have become an important part of Singapore's food heritage.

The Peranakan feast at The Line is available from 6 to 30 August 2026 for both lunch and dinner. Shangri-La Circle members can also enjoy 50% off adult pricing on weekdays, making it a particularly worthwhile option for a weekday meal.
