[Movie Review] Skyscraper

Global icon Dwayne Johnson leads the cast of Legendary's Skyscraper as former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran Will Sawyer, who now assesses security for skyscrapers. On assignment in China he finds the tallest, safest building in the world suddenly ablaze, and he's been framed for it. A wanted man on the run, Will must find those responsible, clear his name and somehow rescue his family who is trapped inside the building...above the fire line.

Watched skyscraper with Huan recently.

Personally, I thought that the film had a focused story-line. The story itself was fast-paced and engaging. The many intense moments definitely kept me at the edge of the seat. However, it appear rather vague and "too good to be true".

The characters each had their own agenda which heightened the climax and excitement to its plot. A pity that the story was lacking with such a brief introduction and background. In order to grasp the entire story, you have to observe and pay attention to the details presented.

It depicted the importance OF kinship and the advantage of being a good team player in such circumstances. If you are into thriller and action-packed movies, remember to purchase a ticket or two!
