POWER RANGERS follows five ordinary teens who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove—and the world—is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so, they will have to overcome their real-life issues and before it’s too late, band together as the Power Rangers.
Watched Power Rangers with Trois yesterday evening at the Cineleisure cineplex.
Personally, I felt that this film was refreshing, direct though rather predictable. A simple plot which was carefully crafted. It was nice to see individuals, with different personality comes together as a community. Not only to accept one another strengths and weaknesses but also to achieve the same ultimate goal. The chemistry among the cast certainly made this film a watchable one too.
It also showed us the importance of teamwork and educated viewers never to be complacent. The intense and humour moments injected was awesome. The finale ended quite abruptly, which was a pity. However, I guess there will be a sequel for you to look forward!
