To The Fore 破风 Movie Review

Eddie Peng, Choi Siwon and Shawn Dou, the sports movie TO THE FORE is directed by the highly reviewed director Dante Lam (UNBEATABLES, THE BEAST STALKER, etc). The movie, an intense sports drama set in the world of competitive cycling, is opening Asia-wide in August 2015!

Was invited as one of the bloggers to watch To The Fore 破风 gala premiere which was held at Golden Village Plaza Singapura yesterday night. Samantha came along with me to catch this film.

Personally, I felt that the story was compact and classic on its own. The story flow was decent though its introductory scenes could have been fine-tuned. It focus slightly more on its cycling competition portion which somewhat neglected its story plot. This film may appear predictable without much substance. However, It actually got better with its story build up that was nicely presented.

There were some intense and gripping moments on its cycling competition scenes, that captured my attention. Besides that, it injected certain romance and humour elements which brighten up this film. It also showed us the importance of teamwork and educated viewers never to be complacent.

Overall, a refreshing romance sports related film that inspired viewers not to give up hope in whatever circumstances happened, but to move on and pursue that passion.
