Decided to try the bread from Tiong Bahru Bakery with CID pals. The place was cosy though slightly noisy since it was located inside Raffles city shopping mall. We ordered Kouign aman, almond croissant and almond chocolate croissant.
Among the three ordered, I personally enjoyed the almond croissant because of its texture and taste. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Buttery and flaky will be what I would describe on the well-done croissant. The others tasted slightly flavourful for me but it still tasted reasonably good. The coffee itself was decent too.
