Divergent is a thrilling action-adventure set in a future world where people are divided into distinct factions based on their personalities. Tris Prior (Woodley) is warned she is Divergent and will never fit into any one group. When she discovers a conspiracy to destroy all Divergents, she must find out what makes being Divergent so dangerous before it's too late. Divergent is based on the best-selling book series by Veronica Roth.

Watched Divergent earlier on. The show flow well and was interesting though certain scenes ended abruptly. Divergent may seems similar to the hunger games but with a different plot.

I think viewers who read the storybook could anticipate and relate better to this film. If you never read the book, you need to pay attention to avoid missing certain highlight of the show.

The different obstacles for the dauntless was pretty cool. It somewhat educate viewers never to give up but instead strive to be stronger. Nice intense and romance scenes which bring this show up to another level.

Personally, I felt that Divergent was slightly better than the hunger games. If compared with catching fire, both will be comparable.
