Went Sumiya Charcoal Grill Izakaya for dinner with Gary yesterday night! Won invites to celebrate this restaurant opening there! Am grateful to have the opportunity to try the food there!

Thought it is one fun concept to have in a restaurant!

Sumiya prides itself on selecting quality ingredients grilled over charcoal fire for the most toothsome and original taste.

The restaurant ambiance was nice and comfy with interesting heritage as a dedication and decoration to the restaurant. The staff was polite and friendly and never fail to smile while serving the customers. One good place to chill after work for dinner or drink!! They do served red wine and beer!

There were a spread of food such as sashimi, beef meat, potato salad, fried takoyaki balls, chicken and pork belly skewer.

The food was good. The ones that left me deeper impression would be the fried takoyaki balls, beef meat and fried mushroom.

The beef meat was really tender and juicy and it tasted not too strong and oily for one. Fried mushroom and takoyaki tasted yummy! One bite and I love it!

Kampong pudding tasted milky for me. The first few mouth was good but too much might be alittle 'jerlat'. Lucky, they are smart enough to put fruits to neutralize the overall taste.

Thanks Sumiya Charcoal Grill Izakaya for sumptuous food! Had a great night to chill with a friend there!
