[Korean Drama Review] 365: Repeat the Year

A story where ten people get the chance to go back in time by one year, but unexpectedly mysterious situations start to arise when their fates are changed and twisted in the process. Ji Hyung Joo is a detective in the violent crimes division. He used to be part of the traffic police but was promoted when he arrested a wanted criminal. It's been seven years since the change, and he's a talented individual who always knows how to relax. Though he is happy at first to have the chance to go back in time by one year and "reset" his life, he begins to search for the truth when a series of mysterious events befall on the group of people he goes back in time with.

Had just completed watching this Korean drama - 365: Repeat the Year. The story was adapted from Japanese novel “Repeat". Decided to catch it because the synopsis attracted my attention.

The drama has a refreshing plot with good suspense. It revolved around the few characters with different purpose and agenda in life. On the other hand, never place your trust in people. At times, the one whom you trust dearly could betray you. In order to grasp the story, please follow each episode closely. The finale had an unexpected turn-out which made this already good drama, an exciting one.

The whole series may not seems logical but, trust me, watch it with an open mind to truly enjoy it!

[Singapore Drama Review] Best Friends Forever 致2020的我们

It is the year 2020. The university reunion party brings three estranged best friends - Si Ya, Yun Xi and Zi Ying back to the campus once again. Besides retrieving the ‘memories’ stored in the time capsule 10 years ago, everyone is also eager to see Romeo, the person who caused their fallout years ago. However, he does not turn up. Yun Xi tries to get close to Si Ya and Zi Ying, in order to rekindle their friendship, resulting in a trip down memory lane.

Just finished watching this series - Best Friends Forever 致2020的我们 currently airing on Mewatch. This show certainly bring back nostalgic memories where it journey viewers through friendship and first love during schooling days.

The characters each has its own traits and attitude towards school and relational life. It is actually comforting to also see individual with different personality accepting one another as friend.

In life, there will be arguments and misunderstanding which cause unnecessary hurt to the people around. However, people do change and learn to cherish when their life turn upside down. This is how a person grow to be better isn't it?

Just realised that this drama was from wawa's production. No doubt, it was pretty good. I'm always a fan of their series and this one did not disappoint too.

You may wish to watch the entire series here.

[Korean Drama Review] Tell Me What You Saw

"Tell Me What You Saw" is a suspense thriller about a genius profiler named Oh Hyun Jae who has lost everything, and a detective with photographic memory named Cha Soo Young who work together to track down a serial killer. Other members include, team leader Hwang Ha Young who sets the plan, ambitious investigation team member Choi Hyung Pil, and veteran detective Yang Man Soo.

Had just completed watching this Korean drama - Tell Me What You Saw. This series reminded me of Dr Frost which focus mainly on investigations. I enjoyed the progression of each episodes, which led me to follow it closely. It was that good as though I'm watching a movie.

The cases are carefully depicted with an unexpected twist. It got better and more interesting when the main characters are involved in it too. The "gathering of evidence and revealing of hidden truth" moment was definitely epic and kept me at the edge of my seat.

Kudos to Jang Hyuk, Choi Soo-young and Jin Seo-yeon acting capabilities. Nicely portrayed!
